I love rice – especially the toasted crunchy rice that forms in the bottom of the stone pot in the korean dish bibimbop. There are a couple of Korean restaurants in Providence so I’ll have to do a round of bibimbop tastings eventually but for now I tried Sun & Moon in East Providence. The bibimbop was super tasty and served perfectly in a stone pot. It was that kind of meal that I kept thinking about for days afterwards – It was superb.
There were only three of the side dishes – banchan – that traditionally come with every korean meal, so I did miss having a table packed with lots of little plates, but this place is a gem.
